Faculty Instructor KUHub Guide
Access the system at campus.hub.ku.edu.tr using Single Sign-On (SSO) with your university email address and password.

Sign in with your KU NetID.
Enter your KU e-mail and password.

Faculty Center
This screen serves as the personal dashboard for the respective instructor.
Info Box

This box indicates the academic term for which the data is being displayed. (e.g., Summer 2025)
Classes

The Classes section displays a detailed list of courses assigned to the instructor.
"Go to My Classes" redirects to the detailed list of all assigned courses.
"Weekly Schedule" opens the instructor’s course schedule in a weekly calendar view.
From the three-dot menu on the right side of each course, the following actions are available:
Class Roaster: View enrolled students and their academic details.
Class Consent: Manage student permission requests for course enrollment.
Upload Syllabus: Upload the course syllabus
Student Availability: View the available time slots for students
Advisee

This section lists students assigned to the instructor as academic advisees.
By clicking the View icon, you can display student profile page.
"Go to Advisees" redirects to the full list of advisees.
Consent Approvals

This section includes consent requests from students.
"Go to Consent Approvals" allows access to the full list of requests.
Exam Schedule

This section displays the exam schedule for the courses assigned to the instructor.
Each listed course shows the exam date and time.
If no exams have been scheduled, the message "No data available in table" will be displayed.
My Teaching (Instructor)
From the My Teaching (Instructor) tab on the home page, you can access Faculty Center, My Classes, My Consent Approvals, My Weekly Schedule, My Advisees and Course Evaluation (Instructor) services.

My Classes
On this screen, you can view the class roster, meeting days, and enrolled student information.
If you have multiple classes, you can select them from the Course Name dropdown. You can also see each student's Enrollment Status and their position in the Waitlist Order columns.
For more information about a student, use the 'Student Profile' and 'Academic Progress Tracker' links located under the Action menu at the end of the each row.
To send a notification to students, select individual student or group using the checkboxes at the beginning of the rows, then click the 'Send Notification' button.

My Consent Approvals
On the My Consent Approvals screen, you can view, approve, edit, or deny incoming course permission requests for your classes.
Select the course name and consent status to display consent records.

To approve or reject, select individual student or group using the checkboxes at the beginning of the rows, then click the 'Approve' or 'Deny' button.
You can enter comments in the designated comment text area. Student will be able to see your comment on their student center.
For more information about a student, use the 'Student Profile' and 'Academic Progress Tracker' links located under the Action menu at the end of the row.

Submitted consents can be modified when necessary by checking or unchecking the releated checkboxes. You can make changes to approved or denied consents until the student use the consent.
After clicking Save, the selected permission types will be granted.
You can grant consent to any student you choose by using the 'Add New' button, even if the student has not submitted a request.
Type of Consents
Requisite:
This is given for enrolling in courses that have not been completed as prerequisite courses.
Closed Class:
This is given for enrollment in classes that have reached their full enrolment capacity.
Instructor Approval:
This is given for courses that can only be taken with the approval of the instructor, or for students who should take the course under any circumstances. It overrides both Closed Class and Requisite conditions.
Different Career:
This is given to allow students to take courses across different careers between UGRD (Undergraduate) and GRAD (Graduate). It overrides both Closed Class and Requisite conditions.
Audit:
This is given for taking a course as an auditor. The student is not responsible for the final exam. It overrides both Closed Class and Requisite conditions.
Limited Audit:
This is given for taking a course as a limited auditor. The student is not responsible for attendance or exams. It overrides both Closed Class and Requisite conditions.
My Weekly Schedule
You can view your calendar on the My Weekly Schedule screen and switch between weekly, daily, or monthly views.

My Advisees

On this screen, you can view a list of students assigned to you as academic advisees.
The table includes columns for Student Number, Name, Academic Career (UGRD, PHD, etc.), Academic Program and Plan, SPA, GPA, Service Indicator, and Release Status.

You can take action for each student individually using the three-dot Action menu at the right end of each row. Available actions include:
Send Notification: Send a message to the selected student.
Student Profile: View detailed profile and academic information.
Student Weekly Schedule: View the student's weekly class schedule.
Academic Progress Tracker: Track the student's academic progress over time.
To send a notification to multiple students at once, use the checkboxes at the beginning of each row and click the Send Notification button at the top right corner.
