My Advisee
On the My Advisees screen, you can view and manage the list of students assigned to you for academic advising.
This screen helps academic advisors stay informed and take appropriate actions to support their advisees effectively.
The table displays key information for each student, including:
Photo: The students' registered Photo’s are included.
Student No: The unique student identification number.
Name / Last Name: Student's full name.
E-mail: Student KU Mail.
Academic Career: Level of study (e.g., UGRD for undergraduate, PHD for doctoral).
Academic Program / Academic Plan: The student’s declared department and major.
SPA / GPA: Student's performance metrics.
Service Indicator: If any holds or restrictions are present.
Release: Indicates whether the student’s information is viewable by the advisor.

At the end of each row, the Actions menu (three-dot icon) provides the following options:
Notify: Deliver a direct message to the student.
To send a notification to multiple students simultaneously, use the checkboxes on the left side of each row and click the “Notify” button located at the top right of the screen.
Release Button: On the My Advisees page, the indicator can be removed by selecting students individually (by checking the box) or in bulk using this button.
Please note that you must meet with the students before removing the indicator.
Students will not be able to register for courses on time unless this indicator is removed.
Student Profile: Access the student's academic and personal details.
Student Weekly Schedule: View the student's current weekly timetable.
Academic Progress Tracker: Monitor the student’s academic progression.
Sorting on the Class Roster Page
On the Class Roster page, the student list can be sorted using the available column headers.
Instructors can sort the list by:
Student ID
First Name
Last Name
Sorting helps instructors quickly organize and locate student information based on their preferred order.
Advisee Report

The Advisee Report screen provides a detailed academic overview of the students assigned to you as advisees. It supports proactive academic advising through real-time visual insights and summary data.
Sections Explained:
Cumulative GPA Distribution:
Located on the left and right, these graphs show the distribution of your advisees based on their cumulative GPA ranges (e.g., 0.0–0.49, 1.5–1.99, etc.). This helps identify students at risk or in need of support.
Academic Term Filter:
Select a term to filter the data (e.g., Fall 2024, Spring 2025). This updates the student list and all visual components accordingly.

The central table lists each student’s:

Mid-Term Exam Early Warning Section:
This section displays students who may need early academic intervention based on their midterm performance. It includes:
Course
Student Name
Exam Grade
Class Average

Advisor Count
If no students meet the early warning criteria, this section will remain blank.
Summary Metrics (Right Side):
Count of Emplid: Total number of advisees.
Number of Students – Early Warning: Displays the count of students flagged for early warning, if any.
