My Classes
What is My Classes?
The My Classes page allows instructors to manage their courses, view enrolled students, monitor capacity information, and perform key class-related actions from a single screen.
Through this page, instructors can:
View and manage class rosters
Monitor enrollment and capacity information
Communicate with students
Access student profiles and academic progress details
1. Information Section
The Information section, located at the top of the page, displays a summary of key details for the selected class.
The following information is available:
Class Number
Enrollment Capacity & Enrollment Count
Reserve Capacity & Enrollment Count
Class Day & Meeting Time
Consent Count
(Number of students enrolled with instructor consent)
This section provides a quick overview of the class structure and enrollment status
2. Class Roster
👤 Student Photos
To help instructors more easily recognize students, student profile photos have been added to the Class Roster.
This feature is particularly useful in large classes and supports quicker identification and interaction.
↕️ Column-Based Sorting
All columns in the Class Roster support sorting.
Instructors can sort the list by:
Student name
Academic year or level
Enrollment status
Other available attributes
Sorting can be applied by clicking on the relevant column header.
🔍 Find (Search) Function
The Find field enables quick searching within the student list.
You can search by:
First name
Last name
Student ID
Email address
This allows fast access to specific student information.
🧩 Columns (Customize Displayed Fields)
Using the Columns menu, instructors can customize which columns are displayed in the Class Roster.
This feature allows you to:
Hide unnecessary columns
Focus on the information most relevant to your needs
Create a cleaner or more detailed view as required
📐 View Options
To accommodate different viewing preferences and screen sizes, three display modes are available:
Compact
Regular
Comfortable
These options adjust row spacing and density, allowing more or less information to be displayed on the screen.
3. Notify (Send Notifications)
The Notify function has been enhanced to provide more controlled communication with students.
The notification interface supports:
To
Cc
Bcc
This allows instructors to:
Send messages to the entire class
Contact selected students
Include additional recipients for informational purposes
4. Actions Menu
The Actions menu, available for each student in the Class Roster, provides quick access to key student-related pages:
Student Profile
View the student’s basic informationAcademic Progress Tracker
Review the student’s academic progress and history
These shortcuts help streamline student review and advising workflows.
5. Upload Syllabus
The Upload Syllabus option allows instructors to upload the syllabus file for the selected class.
In the opened window, you can upload your syllabus file.
Maximum file size: 7 MB
6. Download
The Download option allows instructors to download the class roster.
You can download the class list in Excel format for offline use or record keeping.
