Student Center

The Student Center screen on the KUHub platform is a centralized dashboard where students can view and manage their academic processes, application requests, and personal information through a single interface.

The page is divided into three main tabs:

  • Academic Information

  • Applications & Requests

  • Student Details

Below is a detailed explanation of each tab:

1. Academic Information Tab

This tab provides a comprehensive overview of the student's academic advisor, enrolled programs, active courses, and weekly class schedule.

Academic Advisor

The name and institutional email address of the advisor who guides the student throughout their academic journey are displayed here.

The "Go to Academic Advisor" link redirects the student to the advisor’s profile page.

Academic Progress

This section displays all academic programs in which the student is currently registered.

A student may be enrolled in multiple programs (e.g., double major, minor, or prep school), and this section provides a complete view of both academic history and current standing.

Each row includes:

  • Academic Program: A short code representing the school or faculty (e.g., ELC – English Language Center, CE – College of Engineering, CASE – College of Administrative Sciences and Economics, LAW – School of Law)

  • Plan Description: The full name of the academic program (e.g., DM International Relations, Law, Industrial Engineering)

  • Status: The student’s current enrollment status in that program (e.g., Active in Program)

This section allows students to track their academic history and manage concurrent programs on a single screen.

Weekly Class Schedule

class_schedule.png

This area shows the weekly time schedule of enrolled courses and the term dates.

Each course card contains:

  • Course Code and Title: The short code and official name of the course (e.g., INDR-202 – Engineering Economics)

  • Term Dates: The start and end dates of the course

  • Class Days and Hours: The days of the week and times the course is held

Students can easily see on which days and at what times their classes occur.

They can also:

  •  Click "Weekly Schedule" to view the timetable in calendar format

  • Use "Go to Course Search" to browse and view details of other courses

Consent_Status.jpg

This section is used to view the status of special course registration requests submitted during the enrollment period.

Such requests are typically made for full courses or those with unmet prerequisites.

The consent status table includes the following columns:

  • Instructor: The faculty member to whom the request was submitted

  • Course: The course name and code

  • Consent Type: Type of request (e.g., Closed Course)

  • Status: Current status of the application (e.g., In Progress)

  • Instructor Comment: Additional notes or explanations by the instructor

Students can track the progress of their requests here.

The "Go to Course Enrollment" link at the top right redirects to the registration screen.

If no requests are present, the message “No data available in table” will be displayed.

2. Active Application Forms

In this section, students can view available application forms.

Each form includes an "Apply" button to initiate the submission process.
