Blackboard: Qwickly Attendance Tool

Summary

Qwickly Attendance is a tool that can be accessed by instructors and students to view or submit attendance records. The tool can be used to calculate attendance points, which can be set to sync automatically with Grade Center in Blackboard. It can also send automatic email to notify students when they are marked absent.

  • One By One: displays one student at a time
  • Accessibility Mode: displays all students at once alphabetically, but optimized for keyboard navigation
  • Check In: provides students with the ability to record their own attendance using their device.

This service is available at no charge to the KU community.   

How do I get it?

  • Go to https://ku.blackboard.com/
  • Login with your KU NetID and Password
  • Open the course in which you want to use Qwickly.
  • See Attendance at the bottom of your course menu.
