Install and configure Ivanti Secure Access Client on Ubuntu

  • Download the latest certified 64-bit version of Ivanti Secure Access installer.

Step 1: Install the deb package

Step 2: Add the Repository

echo "deb http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu jammy main" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list

Step 3: Update Package Sources

sudo apt update

Step 4: Install the Dependencies

sudo apt install -y libwebkit2gtk-4.0-dev libcurl4-openssl-dev

  • Open Ivanti from applications.

  • Add Connection by using “+”.

  • Enter a Connection Name and VPN server URL.

  • You can connect to KU Vpn_linux by clicking Connect.

  • If the Chromium Embedded Browser (CEF) is not installed, click OK to download and install it so the connection can continue.

  • Wait for the Chromium Embedded Browser (CEF) installation to complete and do not start another connection during this process.

  • Enter your credentials on the Koç University sign-in page to complete the VPN connection.

  • You can see connection status by clicking small triangle next to KUvpn(connection name).
