Printing and Copying

At Koç University Rumelifeneri and West campuses, print service is provided with the Find-Me-Printing method.

Find-Me printing is the ability for your users to send their print jobs to a single print queue ( KUPRINT ) from their computer or device, and release their jobs from whichever printer they're close to, whenever they want.

Print from any computer on the KU campus network (or off campus if connected through the VPN), including your own.
Just swipe your ID card on any FindMe printer to release your job.

How much does it cost?

Faculty and Staff

This service is available at no charge to the Faculty and Staff.

Students

Each student is allocated a free printing quota for each year 250 ₺.
You can buy quotas with a maximum of 1.000 ₺ at a time.
Quota is non-refundable and non-transferable

You can use one of the following methods to top up your quota:

Option 1: By Yourself

You can top up anytime via KUHub:

Log in to KUHub.
Under Information Technology, select My Print Quota.
Click on the Buy Credit button.
Enter the required billing information.
Select the TL amount you wish to top up and click the Continue to Verification button.
Your quota top-up will be completed within 3 hours at most.

Option 2: Directorate of Information Technology

The Directorate of Information Technology can perform the top-up for you:

Make a payment for the desired quota amount to the account below.
(In the description/memo section, please write: "your email address, printer quota addition").
Send the payment receipt to it@ku.edu.tr
Your quota will be topped up during working hours.

If you do not release your output within two hours, it will be automatically deleted from the pool.

At the end of each semester, remaining balance is rolled-over to the following semester.
Unused balances cannot be refunded, or transferred to another student
We don't issue refunds for faulty or accidental printing
Selected students, with the unit head approval, can be given double free printing quota, once per semester. Incremental fee is charged back to the approving department. Student should submit a Trackit request with the approval note
