MS Teams: Share video recording on LearnHub

You can add a link to an MS Teams video recording in LearnHub so that students can easily access the recording from your course.

On MS Teams

  • Find your recording in Teams chat history

  • Click More options  image2020-3-25_15-37-23.png > Get Link on the recording you want to share

  • Select Get link.

  • The link to the recording will be displayed.

  • Click Copy to copy the link to your clipboard.


On LearnHub

  • Open the relevant course on LearnHub.

  • Go to the course section where you want to share the recording.

  • Turn editing on by clicking Edit mode.

  • Click Add an activity or resource.

  • Select URL.

  • Enter a descriptive name for the recording in the Name field.

  • Paste the copied Teams recording link into the External URL field.

  • Click Save and display or Save and return to course.

The recording will be added to the course as a clickable link. Students can click the link to access the MS Teams recording.

Important

Make sure that the sharing permissions of the MS Teams recording allow your students to access the video. Adding the link to LearnHub does not change the access permissions of the recording in Microsoft Teams.
